During the last month the school managed to win the Green Flag for the third Ɵme. The CommiƩee had to show two visitors around the school as well as answering some challenging quesƟons. YEAR 4 VISIT RATHPEACON
There was great excitement in year 4 as we prepared to travel across to meet our Irish friends in Rathpeacon NaƟonal School, Cork. We were fortu- nate in having a very smooth ferry crossing and a good journey to the hotel Sunday saw us visiƟng Colsh to learn about the local heritage with the fam- ine forcing many to emigrate, the forced transportaƟon of ‘criminals’ and the history of the development of luxury ships.
